The visual story of 'Dance with Myself' depicts a man immersed in motion, encapsulating his intimate connection with his body and the surrounding space. This male editorial photoshoot featuring Guillaume Queau, a dancer extraordinary from the Rambert Dance Company, was my favourite creative collaboration and holds a special place in my heart.

Inspired by the concept of a "move-man," each frame captured Guillaume’s masterful execution of each pose, showcasing his remarkable physical ability and deep emotional investment in every movement. The photoshoot aimed to accentuate the beauty of motion and freeze it in time, and Guillaume's dedication and passion brought that vision to life.

 

Throughout the photo shoot, I had the pleasure of working alongside the phenomenal stylist and MUA,  Michelle Watson Creative, while lending my artistic expertise to support the photographer,  Xavi Montojo. Collaborating with such a talented team was an honour, and  Miguel Man Mer's contribution was invaluable to our small but mighty group.

 

"Dance with Myself" was featured on the pages of L'Effronte Journal in 2020.
